Why am I experiencing technical issues with the portal?

High traffic can cause any platform to slow, lag, or throw errors, and our portal is no exception. We experience extremely high traffic in the final 24 hours leading up to major regional deadlines. This can cause issues in the portal, particularly with creating new accounts, uploading entries, and paying for work. If you don’t know your regional deadline, check it with our region finder and plan to enter early. We do not accept entries through any alternative form, so please plan accordingly.

If you experience technical difficulties, keep trying. Closing other tabs, changing browsers, restarting your computer, and clearing your browser cache may help speed up your portal. Some statuses such as ‘entered for judging’ or ‘parent approved’ may be slow to update. If you have paid for your work and have the receipt(s), please be patient and do not pay a second time.
