How can I request a refund?

If you paid by credit card and believe your credit card was charged erroneously—such as a duplicate charge for the same entry, or due to credit card fraud—please Contact Us so we can help you resolve the issue and provide any necessary refunds. Please include as much information as possible in your inquiry, such as transaction date, last four digits of your credit card, cardholder’s name, and cardholder’s email address, to help us resolve your issue as quickly as possible.

Some, but not all, regions also accept cash and check payments, at the discretion of the Regional Affiliate. When this is the case, cash and check payments are handled directly by Regional Affiliates (find yours here). If you have concerns about a payment made by cash or check, please contact them directly as a first step towards resolving the issue.

Regardless of payment method, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards cannot provide refunds for a submitted entry that you then later choose to withdraw (regardless of the reason), or for entries that do not receive an award.
